About Our Business
My name is Trebor Heminway and I started SharpShots in 2004 to provide quality photography and graphics
products. After many years of purchasing boiler plate school and team photos for my children, I wanted to
create keepsakes to be proud to hang on the wall of any home; and don't end up in a bottom drawer!
I started taking sports photos with film cameras , but found myself missing lots of shots because I was trying
to save film. I transitioned to digital with the introduction of the 1st digital SLR camera. Now I could take all the
"free" photos I ever wanted and just delete the bad ones. What I soon realized was that the true advantage of
digital is being able to control the entire image creation process, With Adobe Photoshop and a good printer, I
had my own photo lab. I soon learned that my engineering background was a big help as the digital dark room
had many new complexities to tackle.
